Comida do Sul landed in the Perth restaurant scene back in 2013. Run by husband and wife duo, Dany Flauzino and Joel Rees, set out to bring the best of Brazilian street food to downtown Fremantle. Comida Do Sul, roughly translated to ‘food of the South’, and showcases the traditional yet exotic flavours of home-cooked Brazilian fare.
Comida was inspired by the balmy nights, vibrant street life and good food from Dani’s native Brazil. In a country like Australia, where the weather is warm and the beach is often close at hand, it made sense to establish a new way of eating in the great outdoors. Following the worldwide trend, we were the first food truck to serve in Perth locations like parks, streets, office buildings, universities, nearby beaches.

Comida has grown its fleet from one truck to two trucks to provide Perth catering services, to cater corporate functions, wedding catering, large events, production catering, birthdays and party catering. We have the know how to make any celebration an experience to remember.
We like to work with local Perth business’s and with this is mind we use WA’s Freshest local produce and pride ourselves on our food quality.
